Results of the 3rd Great Harrold Pit Bake Off 2017
The judging was very kindly carried out by Carlton and Shellington WI. After careful deliberation on taste and appearance the following cakes were awarded 1st or Runner up prizes. All cakes were very good and the Children categories were very well done.
The Best Cake
The 1st prize was won by Geoff Beach and the Runner up was the Harrold Calvados Society.
The Best Sponge Cake
The 1st prize was the cake by the Nana and Granddaughter team Kity and Joanna and the Runner up was James Newman.
Children 12 to 16
The 1st prize was awarded to Olivia Naomi and the Runner up was her sister Amber.
Children 11 and under
The 1st prize was won by Ella LoveJoy and Runner up was Joshua Brough.
