Sorry for the delay, we have discovered the issue in the Main race results and corrected it. These are provisional results whilst we hopefully can sort out a couple of little niggles. A breakdown of the categories will appear shortly. Please click left above the Facebook feed.

Please come to the Lower School Hall between 10am and 12pm to register or to pick up your race number if you haven’t and registered online. The Bake Off ‘tent’ has moved into the Baptist Church.
Medals will awarded on the Green after the races finish at about 4pm.
Full results for the Main Race will be posted on line on Saturday evening if all goes smoothly, or Sunday at the latest.

We do not record (and hence publish) the posiitons for the Children’s races, other than the 1,2,3 medal positions. So if you want to know where your child comes in time or place, then please make provision to assess this yourself.
Please register online if you can and pick up your race numbers during the two registration sessions. Other wise come and register Friday between 6 and 8 and Saturday between 10 and 12. Sponsorship forms are also there to download. The Bake off prizes have been collected and are great. Check on the Bake off page for rules and conditions. As you might have seen on Facebook there are wonderful prizes to be won donated by generous people. You can buy raffle tickets now. They will also be there at registration and on the day. This is our first prize, a rely nice Tusting bag.

You may have noticed signs from Daniel James, the Co-op in Harrold is supplying the water for the runners, bespokemedia have been very kindly doing the leaflets and forms, The Bell will be providing the bar, Jane Smith financial planning is sponsoring the Bake off, Emmaus will help us with transport, and not to forget the the raffle prizes and money donated by Tusting, Spices of Paradise, colworthpark, The Fox, The Royal Oak, Jon Walsh Motors and Harrold Green Fish Bar. The skip for our rubbish will be provided by Paul Riches Skips.
With four days to go here is a selection of trophies and medals that can be won on Saturday. A problem with creating teams has come up, you who have already registered will have received an email. It should be possible to run as part of a team if you which to, you can also let us know Friday or Saturday when you pick up your numbers. Teams need to consist of 3 people, no less and no more.
To enter you just turn up on the day with your cake. The competition is open to all non-professional bakers and children up to the age of 16.
- 12.30-1.00pm Bring your cakes to the bake off marquee outside on the Green
- 1.00pm-2.00pm Judging will take place and winning cakes awarded
- 2.30pm-4.00pm all cakes, including winning cakes will go on sale
- 4.00pm winners will be announced and awarded their prizes on The Green
Competition Rules and Categories
- The competition is open to all non-professional bakers and children up to the age of 16
- Categories are as follows:
- Children aged 11 & under – produce 6 cupcakes of any style
- Children aged 12 to 16 – produce 6 cupcakes of any style
- Best cake (16years +) any type of cake – fruit, chocolate, carrot etc
- Best sponge cake (16 years +) any type of sponge cake- Victoria, Madeira etc.
- Please ensure your name and phone number (and age if a child) is clearly marked on your cakes.
- By entering the competition you are giving your consent for your cake(s) to be photographed and used for future promotional material and for the cakes to be sold with all proceeds going towards the Harrold Pit Run.
You can register Friday 28th April in the Harrold Lower School hall between 6pm and 8pm or Saturday 29th April in the hall between 10am and 12pm.
Alternatively register until Friday 12pm on the 28th online, race number are obtained during the above times from the hall.
Children will have brought home two A5 sheet from school at the end of the week which are registration sheets and sponsor sheets, bring them to the school hall during the above times.
There will be a variety of stalls ranging from our local charities to food, clothes and other things to by or do.
There will be a bouncy slide, Teacups and a ‘test your strength’ tent
There will be a bar
Live music will be provided by Victoria Rose – 2:30 to 3:30 and Pocket the gold fish – 3:30 to 4:30
